Slideshow Tabs not working in IE

Hi,

I have used the Slideshow tabbing in a project I have started in Wordpress.http://thisisallshookup.co.uk/

It works fine in firefox, Safari etc but not in IE.

Is there any simple explanation for this or perhaps is it somthing I have done.

I can dive source code if necessary.

Help would be gratefully received.

Hei,

you have two jquery libraries on that page: The old jquery 1.3.2 and jquery 1.4.2 included in the "full" jquery tools package. That might cause your problems.

Hi there Heikki and thanks for you reply.

I have removed any conflicting jQuery from the page and that has made no difference.

Any other suggestions???

Validating the page is normally one of the first steps:

Also consider changing the doctype for the page, for example xhtml strict. Validator seems to show more errors with that.

Right...ok. All validated but still no change. I notice the mousewheel scroll & the next/previos buttons are working but it is just the top links with are not??

I have only IE6 (Windows XP) and it seems to work quite close to Firefox (OSX 10.5.8). When clicking the top links the animation is really laggy but that seems to work.

Perhaps I will check on another computer.

I have just noticed that whilst my computer says I am running IE7 when I go to download IE8 it says I am already running it on my system??
